Frank Sroka, 68, of 207 Pine Alley, Canonsburg, PA died Tuesday, February 22, 1966 at 12:10 pm in Canonsburg
General Hospital after a six month illness.
He was born in Czechoslovakia January 18, 1898 and lived in the Canonsburg district for 56 years. He was
a retired employee of Fort Pitt Bridge Works.
Mr. Sroka was a member of the St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Slovak Club, First Catholic Slovak
Union Bo. 380 and the Labor Temple, all of Canonsburg.
His wife, Mary Sroka, died November 7, 1938.
Surviving are one son, John Sroka, of Lakewood, NJ; three daughters: the Misses
Mary, Evelyn and Frances Sroka, all at home; and four grandchildren.
Also surviving are three brothers, John, Joseph and Andrew Sroka, all of Canonsburg;
and three sisters: Mrs. Mary Halvonik, of Canonsburg; Mrs Victoria Hullak of Canonsburg,
RD2; and Mrs. Julia Sigmont, of Weirton, WV.
