To so many people, you were many things but to your children, you'll always be Mom. I know you had to go but I don't have to like it. You were my best friend, greatest teacher, and one of the wisest women I know. The fact that you were also my mother was just icing on the cake. I would have loved it if you could stay and get to know the daughter your daughter had, but it was not to be. Your first priority was to your family. You were a wife and mother first and all else came after. I'm just like you, Mom. I'm a small town country girl, like you. I like dainty frilly things like you did and the most important job in the world to me is not what I went to college for, but in the form of the man I married 5 years ago and the daughter I had 4 years ago. Rest easy in the arms of the Lord, Mom. You've earned it. Your loving, faithful daughter, Chrissie

Beloved Gradmother and Great Grandmother. She was the greatest. She was my step grandmother since I was two and she loved me and my sister from the start. I miss her dearly.
