Onikepo Adebusola Ezekiel16 Feb 1949-20 Dec 1995
Nike, as she was widely known, was educated at Hunter College in New York City. She returned to Nigeria and taught in various high schools before joining the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State, where she rose to the level of Producer. She later joined the Nigerian diplomatic service and worked with the Embassy of Nigeria in New York City . Prior to her death, she worked for the United Cerebral Palsy of Morris and Somerset Counties. A devout Christian, Nike was an ordained Elder of the Central Brick Presbyterian Church of East Orange, New Jersey; she was also the Moderator of the Christian Education Committee of the Session. She is survived, among others, by three children and a legacy of social capital which she developed fully among her relatives, friends, and co-workers. She will be sadly missed. Patricia Ezell18 Dec 1958-2 Sep 1998
Patricia died on SwissAir Flight 111 on September 2, 1998, Peggy's
Cove, Nova Scotia. How can I express my sorrow except to let people
know that she was the sister-in-law one can only hope for. Many
times we would play scrabble or trivia pursuit or talk many a
moment about things close to our hearts. She was a sister to
me in everything but blood. Patricia died much, much too soon...she
was on her way to Switzerland to help her dad take care of her
mothers' affairs after her death. Now he has lost wife and child
within just a matter of months. I can understand and feel the
loss just as keenly as it was yesterday.Patricia, I miss you
very much and look forward to seeing you again when the time
comes, always your friend and sister-in-law,Margie
