My mother was a special woman filled with love and creativity. I miss her
very much because she was my best friend. She loved to sew, square dance,
talk on the phone, reupholster furniture, knit, garden and listen to jazz.
She played scrabble, completed crossward puzzles easily, and loved to shop
at goodwill stores. Her long illness was preceeded by many years of good
health. Her strength during all of the medical complications was a good
example of how I need to live my life. I miss her voice, I miss her laughter,
I miss her being there when I need her. I love her very much. I feel her
wrap her arms around me each day and giving me a hug from heaven. I am glad
she was my mom. She loved animals, especially her chipmunk and cats. She
was a good grandmother, a devoted wife, a true friend. I know she is at
peace and without pain. Thank you God for giving me to her. She was truly
one in a million.

My unborn baby, I hope one day your daddy, your sister and I can meet you. We were so happy when we found out you were on your way... So many plans, so much happiness. We loved you so much, my dearest Alan. Everytime I look at the stars, I know you must be among them, a little tiny light that is always shining. We will always remember you, my little angel.
Your Mommy.

~Our Yellow Rose~
Our mother bore many a name.
A daughter, a sister, a friend.
And, although, she's not here to hold,
her hard earned names shall never end.
To her, our sweet and yellow rose,
we send our pure and truest love.
And, we know, in our deepest hearts
that she was our gift from above.
We love you muchly, mom!
