A Tribute to My Father: In the arms of the angels, Fly away from here. From
your dark, cold hospital room And the endlessness that you feel. You were
pulled from the wreckage Of your silent reverie. In the arms of the angels
May you find some comfort there. Dad, you are and always will be my hero.
It has been two years now and still we are lost without you. Nothing is
the same, nothing will ever be the same. I will do my best to fill your
shoes, shoes that I know I am not fit to fill. I will keep our family together
somehow, no matter what happens. I pray that you are happy and whole once
again, free of pain, suffering, heartache and loneliness. Finally, I vow
to do everything that I can to banish this dreadful disease from our family
so that we never have to watch another suffer the way you did. For anyone
reading this, please don't take diabetes lightly. It is a serious disease
that can eat away at the body and/or the mind, even though the doctors tell
you to just take a little pill and everything will be fine. Dad, you were
a policeman who put his life on the line for others, you were a wonderful,
selfless and compassionate husband and father, and you were a friend to all
who knew you. Because of you, the world is a better place. Until our joyous
reunion, Dad, All My Love, Linda

Missing my son is constant and heartbreaking. He was the light of my life with his sweetness and love. He is so missed by us; his wife and two sons, his sister and nephew, his father and step father, and me, his Mom. Frankie was so loved by so many and having the fortunate blessing of him being in our lives for those short twenty-nine years is so precious. I ache to hold him in my arms and tell him how much I love him....I'm striving to understand why he was taken from us....I miss & love him so! I'm trying to have faith that I will see him again. Mom loves you Frankie!
